The Big Patio

Victory's welcome and information center on San Miguel Ave. — the starting point verrado.com gives for Victory (55+) tours and visitor questions. Not an event venue.

If you're house hunting, especially for Victory, start your visit at the Big Patio and talk to a real person before you tour anything. It's Victory's welcome and information center at 20942 W. San Miguel Ave., open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. per verrado.com. verrado.com's Sept. 2026 Victory model park map labels it the Victory Information Center, next to the builder sales offices. It isn't an event venue. verrado.com's Visit Verrado page calls it the place to start a visit to Victory, the 55+ district. Big Patio community representatives answer questions, set up tours of the Victory Club and point visitors toward builder model homes. verrado.com lists the number as 623-399-9001.

Seen older posts that put the Big Patio at 20818 W. Pasadena Ave., or that mention concerts there? Those are out of date. Community concerts and markets happen on Main Street and the Village Green; see Main Street events.

Who stops in

Mostly house hunters who'd rather talk to someone than read a brochure, and visitors getting their bearings before they wander Main Street. New residents come by with general how-does-Verrado-work questions too. For your account, the rules or a design question, though, the Verrado Community Association is the right office.

Before you drive over

verrado.com's Visit page lists the hours as daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Holiday hours aren't posted, so call ahead on a holiday. You can also pick up printed community maps, trail maps and the shopping and dining guide there, per verrado.com's Maps & Collateral page.

Victory Club tours are arranged through the Big Patio team. Call ahead if you want a specific time.

verrado.com's directions are to take I-10 to Verrado Way, head north and follow signs toward Main Street. Some routes are affected right now by the Verrado Way and Yuma Road closure, so check the city's project page first.

Make a morning of it

The Big Patio is a short drive from downtown, so it's easy to turn a visit into a morning. Get coffee or a meal on Verrado Main Street (dining details are on /eat/), then take a lap around the Village Green, which DMB calls Verrado's town square. Shops at nearby Sunrise Market are a short walk on. On a Sunday, the farmers market is the cherry on top when it's running; our homepage This week strip has the current listing.

While you're touring

verrado.com has a Maps & Collateral section with community maps, handy if you're driving neighborhoods. Builders run their own model homes; the Big Patio team will point you to them, but pricing and lot questions go to the builder.

Founder's Day, the holiday tree lighting and other signature events are announced through official Verrado channels, and we add them to This week once there's a public listing. Next stops: Visit Verrado (verrado.com), Verrado events on Main Street, our Verrado Main Street page and Neighborhoods.
