Privacy Policy

Overview

Verrado.us is a static informational website operated by Savy Advisors LLC. We collect as little personal information as possible — the site has no accounts and no first-party analytics cookies. Some public pages load Google AdSense so labeled display ads can appear on community content (see below).

What we collect

Suggestion form

When you submit the "Suggest a Listing" form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, the listing details, and your message. This is stored in a database so we can review suggestions and follow up if needed. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated spam; Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Server logs

The site and its API are hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to serve and protect the site. Our API stores only a one-way hash of your IP address for rate-limiting abuse prevention — never the raw address.

Display ads (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show labeled display ads on public content pages — the home page, guides, dining, places, news, neighborhoods, parks, and similar sections. We do not place those ad units on the legal pages (privacy, terms, disclaimer, how we make money), the suggestion form, the site-status page, or pages with very little text. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google’s use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and you can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

We do not currently participate in any affiliate program, and no link on this site earns us a commission today. If that changes, affiliate links will be labeled as affiliate links, kept separate from Google ads, and may earn us a commission if you buy or book through them, at no extra cost to you. Our How We Make Money page will list each program by name.

What we don't do

• No first-party analytics cookies or sitewide advertising trackers of our own.
• No sale of personal information. AdSense is a third-party ad service, not a sale of your data by us.
• No marketing emails — we only reply to messages you send us.

Data retention & removal

Suggestion submissions are retained while they're useful for maintaining the site. To request deletion of something you submitted, email scott@savyadvisors.com.

Children

This site is a general-audience information resource and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
