A ribbon-cutting with the city starts at 10:30 AM and doors open at 11:00 AM, with a free taco for each of the first 50 guests. Remains found in White Tank Mountain Regional Park in 1982 identified as Buckeye teen: The DNA Doe Project said in an Oct. 6 update that remains found in a remote part of the park in April 1982 belong to Mitchell John Pauli, a Buckeye teenager believed to be about 14 when he disappeared in the late 1970s. Volunteer genetic genealogists began work on the case in May 2026, and further DNA testing by the county medical examiner confirmed the match. The announcement did not give a cause or manner of death. Checked Oct 9 · InBuckeye, Oct 9
